Delete your Keripax Mall account

This page explains exactly how to request that your Keripax Mall account and the personal data tied to it are deleted, what data we remove, what we keep, and how long each step takes.

1. How to request deletion

You can submit a deletion request in two ways. Pick whichever is easier. In both cases, our team reviews the request before deleting — we don't delete instantly so we can make sure no live chats or active enquiries are mid-flight.

Option A — From inside the Keripax Mall app (fastest)

  1. Open the Keripax Mall app and sign in with the account you want to delete.
  2. Tap Profile on the bottom navigation bar (or open your Shop / Service Provider profile screen if you're a seller).
  3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete my account.
  4. Pick an optional reason and tap Submit request. You'll be signed out automatically.

Option B — By email

  1. From the email address registered to your Keripax Mall account, send a message to delete@keripax.tech.
  2. Use the subject line: Delete my account.
  3. Include the phone number on your account (if you signed up by phone), and any reason you'd like to share.
  4. We confirm receipt within 24 hours and complete deletion within 7 days.

2. Data that is deleted

The following information is permanently removed when your request is processed:

Your shop, its description, photos, and all listed products (if you're a shop owner) Deleted permanently
Your services, descriptions, and photos (if you're a service provider) Deleted permanently
Open product requests and offers you posted Deleted permanently
Push-notification token (Firebase Cloud Messaging) Deleted permanently
Behaviour signals used for "Recommended for you" (your browsing history within the app) Deleted permanently
Verification documents (ID photos, business registration) uploaded during shop / service onboarding Deleted permanently

3. Data that is kept (and for how long)

A small amount of information is anonymised and kept for legal, fraud-prevention, and marketplace-integrity reasons. The retention period is shown next to each item.

Reviews you wrote on products or shops Anonymised, kept indefinitely
The review text remains public because other buyers depend on it. Your name is replaced with "Deleted user".
Messages you sent in chats Kept on the recipient's device
We can't remove copies of your messages from another person's chat — the recipient still has them. Your sender name shows as "Deleted user".
Reports filed against your account by other users Anonymised, retained 90 days
Used for fraud prevention. After 90 days, permanently deleted.
Your deletion request record itself Anonymised, retained 30 days
We keep an anonymised audit record (date, status) for 30 days to prove we completed your request. After 30 days, it's deleted.
Aggregated, anonymised analytics (e.g. daily active user counts) Retained indefinitely
These counts cannot be tied back to you — they're sums and averages across all users.
Crash logs that contained your device's identifier at the time of the crash Retained 90 days
Stored by Firebase Crashlytics. Auto-deleted after 90 days.

4. How long it takes

  1. Within minutes: Your request is recorded in our admin queue. If you submitted from inside the app, you're signed out immediately.
  2. Within 24 hours: Our team confirms receipt by email.
  3. Within 7 days: We delete your account, listings, photos, and personal data from our active systems, and send a confirmation email.
  4. Within 30 days: The deletion request record itself is purged from our admin queue.
  5. Within 90 days: Any related crash logs and reports older than that window are auto-purged.

5. Need help?

If you don't get a confirmation within 24 hours, or you can't access the in-app delete button, email support@keripax.tech with the email or phone number on your account. We respond within one business day.
