1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Keripax Mall mobile application, website, or any related services (collectively, the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to all of these Terms, you may not access or use the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform constitutes your acceptance of any updates or modifications to these Terms.

2. About Keripax Mall

Keripax Mall is a digital marketplace designed for Zimbabwe. It connects buyers with local shops and service providers. The Platform allows users to browse product listings, discover services, and enquire directly with sellers. Keripax Mall does not sell products or services itself — it serves as a venue for buyers and sellers to connect.

Keripax Mall is an enquiry-only platform. All transactions are completed offline, in person, between buyers and sellers. Keripax Mall does not process payments, handle deliveries, or act as an intermediary in any transaction.

3. User Accounts

To use certain features of the Platform, you must create an account. When creating your account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
• Keep your account credentials secure and confidential.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
• Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must be at least 16 years of age to create an account. Keripax Mall reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent, harmful, or illegal activity.

4. Marketplace Safety

Your safety is our top priority. Keripax Mall operates as an ENQUIRY-ONLY marketplace. This means:

• Never send money online. Do not transfer money via EcoCash, bank transfer, or any other online payment method based on a chat conversation on the Platform. Keripax Mall will never ask you to send money through the app.
• Always visit the shop in person. Before purchasing any product, go to the physical shop location. Inspect the product with your own eyes and hands before paying.
• Verify before you buy. Check that the seller has a verified badge where possible. Ask questions, request photos, and confirm details through the enquiry system.
• Meet in safe, public places. If meeting a service provider or individual seller, choose a well-lit, public location.
• Report suspicious activity. If a seller pressures you to send money online, makes offers that seem too good to be true, or behaves suspiciously, report them immediately using the report button.

Keripax Mall uses AI-powered scam detection to flag suspicious listings, but no system is perfect. Always exercise your own judgment and follow the safety guidelines above.

5. Shop Listings

Sellers who list products or services on Keripax Mall agree to:

• Provide accurate descriptions, prices, and images for all listings.
• Keep listings up to date and remove products that are no longer available.
• Respond to buyer enquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Operate a legitimate, lawful business and comply with all applicable Zimbabwean laws.
• Not use the Platform to deceive, defraud, or mislead buyers in any way.

Keripax Mall reserves the right to remove any listing that violates these Terms, contains prohibited content, or is flagged by our AI moderation system or user reports.

6. Prohibited Content

The following types of content and activities are strictly prohibited on the Platform:

• Illegal goods or services, including drugs, weapons, stolen property, and counterfeit items.
• Fraudulent or misleading listings designed to deceive buyers.
• Hate speech, harassment, threats, or content that promotes violence or discrimination.
• Sexually explicit or obscene material.
• Spam, unsolicited advertising, or phishing attempts.
• Content that infringes on intellectual property rights, trademarks, or copyrights.
• Any content that violates the laws of Zimbabwe.

7. Reporting & Moderation

Keripax Mall employs a combination of AI-powered moderation and human review to maintain the quality and safety of the Platform. Users can report any listing, shop, or user that they believe violates these Terms by using the report button available throughout the app.

When you submit a report, our moderation team will review it and take appropriate action, which may include:

• Removing the reported content.
• Issuing a warning to the offending user.
• Suspending or permanently banning the offending account.
• Referring the matter to law enforcement if criminal activity is suspected.

8. Limitation of Liability

Keripax Mall is a platform that connects buyers and sellers. We do not manufacture, sell, or deliver any products or services listed on the Platform. Therefore:

• Keripax Mall is not responsible for the quality, safety, legality, or accuracy of any product or service listed on the Platform.
• Keripax Mall is not liable for any disputes, losses, damages, or injuries arising from transactions between buyers and sellers.
• Keripax Mall makes no guarantees about the availability, reliability, or accuracy of the Platform or its content.
• To the maximum extent permitted by law, Keripax Mall shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

9. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Platform, you consent to the collection and use of your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to Terms

Keripax Mall reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and may notify you through the app or via email. Your continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

We encourage you to review these Terms periodically to stay informed about your rights and obligations.
